To totally plagiarize the wording in WordPress, this is my very first post in the WordPress universe! The prompt for this post also suggests that I 1) use this post to tell readers why you started this blog and 2) what you plan to do with it. to be honest, I only started this particular blog because I wanted to “like” my cousin James Reid’s post on his blog. So I created a User account and thought, why not link my blog to this one as well? Apparently, I must have at least had part of this brilliant idea once before because I discovered that my email account that I use strictly for writing had already been used.

I’ve already intimated at my 2), which is to link to my current blog and even add some of what I considered to be my archived gems to this one. I consider myself a fledgling humorist, and I have at least one rejection letter from Creators Syndicate to prove it. (No this is not a vain attempt to shame them into granting me a column, although if that result ever comes to fruition, this would make a great story). I may also use this platform to launch the occasional short story.

The most important question in my mind is, Why should you care? Maybe you don’t right now. And that’s okay, but as with all other writers that you grow to know and love, that love had to originate at some point. If I gain a slightly larger fan base out of this, maybe it will lead to more things. If I do nothing but gain a few more that like what I have to say, that’s just as good.
